The wavy metal stuff is quite ok for me, but you're right, I always tried to create a descent environment, and that's exactly where I suck: environments. The idea with that sword (being older and rusty) on a forest, laying on some moss......well, let's see, the new Maya5 supports PFX with MentalRay, also Particles, let's see.
